There's a good chance your tires are not only out of balance, but out of round as well. The fix there is to remove the high spots by shaving down the tires. I've posted photos of the process here before, I'll try to find them.

What size tires are you trying to put on your c-60? Just curious, as I recently put new goodyears on my 89 and they werent too bad. 19.5 rims? You could always swap axles / hub parts from a C-70 and run 22.5's.

Aruba- I injected the Counteract beads through the valve stem w/o splitting the wheel. A few of my wheels need new o-rings installed and I figured I may have to use the loader bucket to get the ring free from the tire.

Not sure about the beads and the CTIS yet. I have a feeling that at some point a few will get stuck in a wheel valve, prevent it from seating, and deflate a tire. I'm going to try something bigger on the other truck - maybe golf balls.

Monkeyboyarmy- I'll be replacing the same bushing on my transfer case. If you had to do it again, would you repair it in the truck, or remove the case and do it on a bench. I had not considered leaving the case installed until I read your post. Thanks.

I had the same issue with both of my trucks. My tires were out of round, and out of ballance. Weight will help a bit, but not correct the situation. In my case I had the tires shaved down (loosing a bit of tread) to get them true. I also added ballance beads to the tires.

How about pressurizing the VENT port of the shutter-stat with air when you want the fan to be forced ON,using an axle engagement switch. In the OFF (auto) position, the shutter-stat switch vents through the axle engagement switch, and cycles the fan as needed.

74 - You may want to go with a "Crown" air freshener with the chain wheel, and skip the fuzzy dice.

^^^^This^^^^ That large diameter wheel will give you a bit more control in event of a power steering failure.

Looking forward to seeing how well the front driveshaft clears your Fuller transmission. It looks a good bit "shallower" than the Allison, so maybe the shaft can pass under it. Hope everything continues to go well.

Good point about loosing power on the low end of the operating range when advancing timing. Maybe it's set to 8deg for emmissions, and advancing it won't have any negitave effect on performance. Seems like a bunch of us have turned up the fuel rate, now we're going to move on to advancing...

Consider the 8.3 from the A2. That engine seems "just right" for these trucks. All of the little things - engine driven accessories, brackets, cooling, exhaust, etc already exisist with no need for being creative. Great job on your videos.
