m1008 no head lights, horn, brake lights or black out lights

Well, I'm an idiot! after spending hours cleaning grounds, the bus bars, bulk head connection, having the dash apart checking the blackout light relay, poking and prodding it ended up being a simple, idiotic mistake. I put the headlight fuse in the wrong spot after visually checking it. left is...

m1008 no head lights, horn, brake lights or black out lights

The led lights didn't take any modification, they were plug and play. I still have the original square fuel filter with all the wiring for the baseplate if that's what you're referring to. Thanks 👍

m1008 no head lights, horn, brake lights or black out lights

I checked the main junction block on the firewall, it's past the fusible link. I'll have to take the junction apart at the firewall I guess. It seems like it would be something related to the blackout lights that's why I disconnected the plugs on the switches and made two jumper wires for the...

m1008 no head lights, horn, brake lights or black out lights

sorry if this is redundant. started truck. no headlight, signals, brake lights, horn. made sure black out switches were in proper place. tried to turn black out lights on, nothing. checked head light fuse, it's fine (checked fuse with test light). unplugged black out switches and bypassed the...

    Front brakes part numbers M1008

Drock, Thank You, I just ordered an 18FR652. I have come to find that the SRW and DRW pick ups and supposedly the 2wd trucks used the same calipers for 1 ton and above. I did cross reference the part number in the TM 14002543, the only calipers I could find were from Bendix, Wagner and Cardone...

Blue fuseable wire on fire wall

just fried that fusible link today. I was changing the alternator belt and forgot to disconnect the batteries. What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Replaced All three belts (that power steering belt sucks!! ) but, as the idiot I am forgot to disconnect the batteries. Ended up grounding the passenger side alternator (Alt 2), the fusible link from the 2nd battery and alt2 burned up in a cloud of smoke. replaced that fusible link with one from...
