hi all,
dose anyone have a color code for the high visibility yellow used on "follow me" jeeps and on other ground support equipment during WWII
thanks in advance
Mike
ok a crash course in M151 identification
the easiest way to ID them
M151 marker lights in grill only
M151-a1 maker lights in grill, and small turn signals mounted on top of front fenders
M151-a2 no marker lights in grill large style turn signals mounted in recesses on top of front...
i was looking around on craigslist and came across this ad
*FREE* Giving Army Jeep Away 2679805769, Havertown, Pa
1976 ARMY
NEED TO GET RID OF THIS JEEP TEXT ME ASKING FOR Jai , NEED GONE
seems a little odd dosent it?
anyone around that area that would be interested in checking it out...
ATTENTION WWII VEHICLE COLLECTORS
i came across an early Dodge WC at D's U-pull it, in dunmore PA
appears to be a WC-1 or WC-4 but not sure, it has the slope hoods like the early dodges
no cab, no windshield, no bed
it is just inside the main gate to the right

i had a 42 ford 1 tonner do this to me,
turns out a tooth chipped off, and was locking the input shaft up.
once i pulled the trans apart and fished the chunk out it was fine
the same trans is still in it today
i use the cheap wally world 2 stroke oil last time i checked $12 for a gallon
i run at about a 40 or 50 to 1 mix
it seems to quiet down the rattles in the 6.2 quite a bit
then i add the power service (white bottle) just at a little anti-gel insurance in the winter
Neutral? This isn’t household wiring
But if the ground or negative is disconnected the batteries shouldn’t drain.
How old are the batteries? My guess is they are just getting old and weak.
And as far as your gen 2 light not coming on I’m just guessing a bad bulb.

not to be a smartass, but have you ever bled a diesel that has run out of fuel?
even if you have fuel at teh filters you still need to bleed the injector lines.
you have to crack open the injector lines at the injectors, crank the engine over until you get fuel and the tighten the lines...
oil/ brake fluid contaminated brake shoes can cause a chattering an grabing that would cause a problem like yours
hit them with Brake Kleen and see if it helps at all if it dose, get new shoes and fix whatever is leaking, also be sure to spray down the drums too
