    WTH, Found a tank today.

Can't say I'm familiar with that event... judging from the foliage around the tank I'd guess it looks like it has been sitting for 15-20 years.

    M923a2 cdl

In case you're wondering if i'm about to start the "Do i need a CDL or not" debate" :deadhorse:, no i'm not. I was looking into getting a CDL for an M923A2. Even if i get a M35A2 or another smaller truck, i figure that the practice from the test would be beneficial. Anyway, i was wondering what...

    M923 or Deuce?

In reply to Therooster2001, i have found that the 923's are harder to get ahold of. I have seen some for sale near me, but generally there are 3 times more deuces. Also GL has stopped selling them as far as i know.

    M923 or Deuce?

Yeah i have a decent amount of experience driving manual vehicles. And i know that the MV's are a very special type of vehicle. However, i feel like i would greatly appreciate the hauling capacity of the trucks. I've heard that the deuce has a different shifting pattern. After reading about a SS...

    Bridging Truck

First off, im not sure if this is the right category. Anyway, i was looking through some threads and i heard about the M328 bridging truck. So naturally i look it up and i turn this up.:drool::drool::drool::drool:

    M923: mudding or not?

Yeah, i've heard that water and mud can cause a lot of maintenance issues. Also, yeah you definitely want a winch or something big to pull ya out. Of course, it would be nice if you never got stuck at all, but ive heard that they sink and dig in.

    M923: mudding or not?

So im looking at getting an MV. I would love to take it through its paces (mud/hills, etc) but ive heard that mudding can cause some problems. Any suggestions?

    Golf cart ramps

Yeah probably a longer set of ramps, too short and the grade will be steep enough that you might scrape.

    M923 or Deuce?

Yeah, thought about that after I posted that. Can't be too careful.

    M923 or Deuce?

I saw a 1971 M35A2 for sale for 6500 on CL, looks very nice except for torn seat. But those super singles are sweet.

    M923 or Deuce?

Oh and i would be storing it off site. So parking isn't an issue.

    M923 or Deuce?

For anybody wondering, this will be my first MV and my first vehicle. Before you ask, yes i do understand that these trucks can get single digit mileage and weigh a few dozen tons, but the cool factor.... plus i go mudding with my cousins, and it would be great for hauling.
