    Water Trucks... Mk23...

I think you need to check the tank plate, but does not appear to a 4,000 gallon tank. I’ll bet it’s closer to a 2500 gallon tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

M939A2 Fuel Pump Shut Off Wire......Motor wont Die, Help

Ok just to follow up and let you all know what I figured out, I got the problem resolved. The solenoid tested bad, therefore I removed it and replaced my broken kill cable and have the truck running again. I was under the impression due to my lack of knowledge, or lack of paying attention to...

LMTV M1078 Transmission Fluid Change To ATF Write Up

Great write up and very informative Thanks Our truck was also lurching due to the pedal hinge sticking. I lubed it up and problem fixed. It held the RPM's so slightly up that it was all but impossible to notice.

M939A2 Fuel Pump Shut Off Wire......Motor wont Die, Help

Ok, so I finally got to put a DVOM on the terminals. It appears I have no voltage to the solenoid on either wire, not the one that is suppose to energize when I engage the starter nor the one the that should stay energized with the battery switch. If just one was not work I would just trace...

m1078 conversion to brush fire truck

I was trying to make my original post brief, but just to clarify. The entire bed, spare tire and 6" channel that runs the entire length of the frame was all removed. But hard to believe or not the exact weight of the bed and all the lift supports that was inside the bed and troop seating...

m1078 conversion to brush fire truck

My Fire Department also recently acquired a LMTV. I removed the entire bed, which alone shaved 4300 lbs from my weight. I then make the frame wider which allowed me to mount the tank (same one you have) on the frame with a 3/4" rubber between the tank skids and frame. I have mounted the tank...
