I just got this thing running well, and I think I may have fried the regulator. I got it going and hooked up a small space heater to the 120 on the face, as I turned it up the generator changed RPM. I walked away to let it run for a bit. This was with the main 3 poll in the OFF position...
I'm having trouble with my MEP16-D. I haven't run in in 2 years. I drained, cleaned, and replaced the fuel filter in the aux tank, it was gross. Replaced Fuel Lines. Aux Fuel lever set to On. Main fuel tank has never worked. It pulls fine like it has compression, but it won't start...
I’m running my house (some of it) off my Mep-16b. I’m having to refill the aux tank every 3 hours because the darn fuel lever (selector, by the glass fuel dome filter) is stuck straight up. I’m worried I may break it if I force it.
Any suggestions? Also which way is on, left or right?
I installed a 120/240 reliant 10 circut transfer switch with the 4 wire connector/plug.
First I'm assuming feeding 120 into the transfer switch is fine as long as I dont hook any 240v loads to it?
I want to leave all of the wireing going into the house correct incase i upgrade generators...

Hello I just got a mep-016d. It's in good shape with under 20hr, all parts appear to be attached. Now I'm wondering how do I actually connect my #6 wire to the post? Do I use just a big circle connector like I would use in auto wiring, or is there a special connector? I have searched...
