The CAGE code says it was Jeep Corp but that code went into effect in 1972. My deuce was built in 69. From what I can learn, that means it built by Kaiser-Jeep, so that is what I'm going with, unless anyone has any other ideas. Thanks

Can anyone tell me who Manufacturer 65909 was for a 1969 deuce?

The odometer only read 87 when I picked it up, although I added another 600+ driving it home. However, the engine hours read 1522, so I figure it's either the slowest deuce in the world, or they replaced or reset the odometer but not the engine hours? It was a Tooele Army Depot rebuild, Not sure...

Yes, I was in Garlstedt with HHC, 2d AD(FWD) from 87-90. Our first child was born in Bremerhaven. We went back to show my son where he was born 2 years ago. No Americans there at all now, couldn't even get on the kaserne. I wish I had one of those motor pool buildings to store these trucks in! Vince

The two bows that are bent are not only curved as they should be, but are also bent (twisted) forward (or backwards) in the center, as if they warped because of the cargo cover being cinched down too tightly perhaps. I'll check the classifieds/ebay etc. Does GMA have a site? Thanks for the info...
