Bobbed deuce,105 for a bed, freightliner air-ride question

Yes the tank and spare are not in the way. I would suggest to lower the front mount below the frame slightly or the rear bags will have to be pumped up a little tight. You should put some thought into the end use of the truck though. I have noticed in grassy fields and on dirt the traction is...

    Dual Circuit Brake Engineering Thread

I agree no air pressure and you still have brakes sorta. But blow a line or mc or wheel cylinderand your done. Been there and that was no fun and I stay up on my pm's. Different pressures something I have thought about but I keep thinking the 105 was designed to work with the deuce system...

    Dual Circuit Brake Engineering Thread

Is using 105 parts such a bad idea no one wants to comment? Something I'm not sure of is if the line pressure from the 105 mc would be about the same as th deuce? Although it is a system designed to work with the deuce. You would just be moving it from the trailer to one truck axle.

    Dual Circuit Brake Engineering Thread

Has anyone considerd using 105 trailer mc and air pancake? All that would need to be done is plug the line to one axle then mount and plum the 105 parts to it. Would not be hard to do parts are easy to locate. Then you have brakes on at lest one axle. But thoughts in my head don't always work.

    CNG Fumming

I just ordered a ebay kit for 420.00 to the door. Deluca was 1600.00 his kit is better I think because it is completly rebuildable but it takes to long to recover the investment. I'll let you know what the ejunk one looks like when I get it. For the price diffrence I felt it was worth the gamble.

    M-35 Air Starter

If it was a good idea you would see it on civi trucks more. Its a problematic system freezes up in winter slow air leak leaves you looking for air supply in the morning. Plus you have to have air tank as big as a fuel tank. To many negatives that why they haven't been around since the 70s.
