I just picked up a truck and the transfer case air shift switch under the dash is covered with oil and looks like it has been dripping on to the floor of the truck.:shock: It swells like gear oil. Any ideas as where this is comming from and how to fix it?

This is a 24 volt Jabco searchlight off a boat. I didnt want to drill in to my top so this mount is what I came up with. I can still use my soft top and fold the windshield. I am looking at a m35, its been sitting about 1 year, shows 20,000 miles. After starting it smoked white for a bit while it warmed up. Is this common? Is it a bad sign?. It was about 30 degres if that makes a differnce. Thanks for any input.
