    No AC output

It looks like you arent getting enough excitation

slight pitting and burning is normal in K1. you get a frequency so some power is being made. are you skilled with a multi meter? With the set running measure the voltages at the contactor. both sides lets see if the head is making power first.

A sliding block. Something that physically prevents you from closing both breakers at the same time? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    MEP004A Voltage Regulator/Exciter BBQ

I am following the design in this thread. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/mep-005a-voltage-regulator-replacement-and-single-phase-conversion.219949/# I have never used this process before, the one i did was alot more complex.

    Converting a 005A with a Digital Controller

I am glad you posted about the temp sender i was having the same issue and hadnt dug deeper into it yet. I ordered one from china took 2 months with no shipping data. somewhere around month 1 I went through amazon and it took 2 weeks. now i have a spare.

    MEP004A Voltage Regulator/Exciter BBQ

I would say your voltage regulator is done. I know a couple of members here that have rebuilt the existing a direct replacement is difficult to find. There is an aftermarket option but it requires some skill to assemble. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

your lockout physical interlock or manually applying loto?

Ground loops do weird things. you should have 4 wires from the set to the house. if there is no switching of your neutral connection (most common) then you need to be sure the neutral to ground bond at the generator is open.

    MEP004A Fuel Pump

The second fuel pump is not for performance it is there for redundancy. They can run just fine off of one. I'm getting ready to retrofit my 004 with a updated AVR I would be happy to share notes with you. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    MEP004A Fuel Pump

It'll run just fine with one pump matter of fact I've seen them run with just one pump quite frequently because people don't realize that one pump has failed and it's just a dead brick Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    MEP004A Fuel Pump

If you need to buy a second pump make sure it is a feed through if you are running two pumps Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    MEP004A Fuel Pump

did you pull the slug out? theres a steel piston in that tube that needs free. that tends to get glued up. I in extreme cases have had to use compressed air to blow through the outlet to get it loose. There is 2 pumps, they should be piped together. so if you took 2 hoses off this...

    Mep003 voltage drop after 7500w

He would be the better resource here. If it were me and I were troubleshooting I would measure the field voltage and observe it as the load is increased Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    Mep003 voltage drop after 7500w

The voltage crashing leads me to believe there is a failure in the AVR. Basically the higher load requires a stronger field and the avr is not keeping up causing the voltage to crash. This in turn causes less magnetic field and makes the rotor spin easier causing the spike in frequency. Sent...

    Wellnut question

You are braver than I. I've never had a tapered thread seal properly without some form of sealant
