That U joint is bad at the transfer case, you can clearly see the play in it (at the 2 second time mark), also any time you see red (rust) around a U joint it is likely bad.
Yep it's a bad U Joint . Should be an easy fix but change them both out F/R While your in there.

can anyone suggest a part number or a vendor?
(are both joints the same part number?)
I am not very mechanically inclined and afraid of buying the wrong parts.

Bad u joint, and possibly lose differential. My differential (215000 miles) is somewhat lose, and makes a klunk way louder than that. No major problem so far. Someday I will replace it and rebuild the old one. Use the TM to get the correct part number for the u-joint.

Remove the joints and visit a parts dealer that starts with a N and ends with an a. These are common size joints and an experienced parts guy should be able to fix you up. My 2 cents.

Could it be that they just need to be greased...?
If you wrap your hand around the joint and wiggle the drive shaft and can feel any difference in the movement of the two ends of the yokes, It's bad. You should feel NO difference in the rotation of the two ends as they wiggle back and forth or any play back and forth( kind of up and down). With your location, does your HOA know you have this truck??????

Ohh yes they (HOA) know of course, it's not like a Fiat 500 if you know what I mean.
I will do the test you suggested on Monday.
