Dually Conversion (For looks)

what about a dually m1009 I have been pondering this myself just cause it would be totally different

I would hate to drive that down a washboard dirt road. I think your teeth would vibrate out of your head.

i think you'll be better off looking for an 1986 K30 dually with a 6.2L and just paint it OD

Why don't you just look around for an M1028A2?
It is a pretty much a dually variant of the M1008.

As seen here:

Chevy CUCV Truck, Shelter Carrier, 1 1/4 Ton, 4x4 M-1028

No conversion needed then..

The ability to pull all sorts of stuff

from extra heavy weight in the bed - aka S250 comm box

or being able to tow a load - mine pulls an M101 really nicely, even heavily loaded
