Speaking with Swiss this morning - and he has a hard rest of the week ahead of him just handling his own business - BUT - what we're waiting word on is some one on the House side that will also sponser the bill to make the contacts to vote it in - just like the Senate side.
There are few days left so all this needs to be done quickly - its a toss of the coin at this point.
We should be hearing where we stand with the latter - later tonight.

But alas business gets in the way of important things! I have been in 2 states in the last three days and now am sitting in downtown Atlanta. That said we had a busy day yesterday. We got a return on our investment from all the activity that happened yesterday. We do have a committee and a sponsor House member. A few details are being worked out before we hit the phones hard to ask for our House members support. I should have more information later today.
A few members from outside the state have asked if family members or friends living in Georgia can call. The answer is YES. If you have family, friends, dogs that speak good english and are registered to vote please have them call their Georgia House representative when we are ready.

Okay GEORGIA time to get to work: Senate Bill 392 comes to vote on Monday in the Georgia House of Representatives Motor Vehicles committee. If your representative is listed below then please call and e-mail them to ask them for their support for SB 392 during Monday's committee vote. All others please call and e-mail your representative and ask them to support SB 392 when it comes up for the general vote.

Anyone outside of Georgia - there is no reason to not e mail the 12 folks on the Motor Vehicle Committee - even if you do not live here a tad bit of input may not hurt - let them make the decision to not recognize the data.
This bit of getting this Bill put before the House Motor Vehicle Committee took a great deal of the lobbyist time and energy - do they need more funding - that is an easy answer if you do not like working for free - this has been an extremely difficult struggle this last week for them and they GOT IT DONE so it can be voted on Monday the 10th - that alone is a success.
Donate if you can as its not over by any means with so little time left - e mail your House Rep - those outside Georgia - contact by e mail the 12 members or only one if you can.

Good morning everyone, I love Zout's enthusiasm and support! One thing to note though, all legislators want to hear from THEIR CONSTITUENTS, ie the voters in their districts. We are looking for quality and not quantity. The best way to achieve that goal is as follows:
1.) Call during office hours
2.) You have to leave / provide your address
3.) Be short and sweet, We are asking for Congressman/Congresswomans support on SB 392 Military Vehicles
If you e-mail, e-mail once and provide your address in the e-mail or it will be looked at as junk mail.
We did get a nice $100 contribution last night from a previous contributor and THANK YOU!
It is a little harder to find your house representative, the easiest way is to look at the list below and find the nearest city to where you live then click on the district map to ensure you live in that district. The district map is below the representatives picture.
