Non cdl, cdl = cant drive for hire.

But according to all the above posts 5 tons are not in those categories. Yes you can register it as a MV but you can't use it any way you want legally. And you still can't legally drive it without the CDL. I was hoping I could do exactly as you said, but members here have shown me that is not legal.

Can you show the statute for that? Only non-CDL info I can get is for Exempt vehicles and these don't qualify.
