I had a set of those. Worst quality headers I've ever seen. Ugly welds and shocking to look inside them. Looks like the individual pipes were cut with a hacksaw and jammed into the collector (? Main body?). Really rough work.
As mentioned they only work on Hummers.
All I've seen are pictures
First are they for 12 bolt rims only or can they be used in 8 bolt as well? Somebody is claiming they can't.
Can you use the beadlock insert without the runflat?
On a 4X4 board I frequent there is some nut claiming a deuce was made to run on gasoline or diesel or a mix. Claims there is a plate next to the steering column stating such. Further he claims he's done it.
I've already called him on it. So I could be falling flat on my face.
Is there any...
Just a follow up. The Pressure Washer & kerosene isn't working out as well as I thought. Large, easy to get to areas it's pretty good. it's the nooks & crannies. If I could pull the body off it would help a lot.
It's just the body ,M1009, on the frame but laying on my back on a creeper isn't...
X2. Looks fairly lightweight to me. The problem of that type of mount pulling out of the fender is well known. A 33" tire is probably pushing it's limits and I'd definitely be concerned about putting a larger tire on it. A bumper/frame mounted tire carrier is the way to go.
X2 on the used doors. They are readily available and cheap. Keep an eye on craigslist, ebay, these forums, etc. I paid $50 for two doors. Less $$$ and work than new skins. :D
I'm looking for air valve stems for my HMMWV rims. So far they have been hard to track down. Don't ask what AMG wants for them, they want more for one than I am willing to pay for 5 and that's NEW :?
