i am trying to "replace" the old tanks the bottom one is pinholing, and i suspect that's not good so i either need to find "nos", or if there is a commercial replacement that is better... if somebody has some, contact me PLEASE

keep in mind, that most computer speakers have crappy little, unfiltered, unprotected amps in them that will "grab" darn near anything from the ether and make it louder

i'd say find a geek or geekette and trade him or her your antenna for something you can use. they are not cheap, so if someone wants it, you might get a scanner, or something out of it. you might craigslist it, it's probably $200 to $400 new i forget, not everyone lives in geek land. sorry...
