    Opinions on MEP-831A

How reliable would the MEP-831A be if using for the only sourse of power at a off grid cabin? I do not run 24/7, rather 3 or four hours per day, and 12 to 14 hours during the Texas summer when AC is needed. I have been using MEP-002 and 3 generators and they simply make too much power and use...

    600 Gallon Fuel Tank

Hi Phil and Wrekerman, I really have need for the tanks. But, if I can't repair, I will keep you in mind on the lid. I put in a blind bid with GSA and got these tanks. I never expected them to have the holes, rather that the valves, latches and such would need repair. I have used quite a bit...

    600 Gallon Fuel Tank

I bought 4 of the aluminum 600 gallon fuel tanks from GSA/Forest service. They were used for water storage and have holes from corrosion and or electrolisys. Is there an easy fix? A cleaner and coating, or bladder for these tanks. Any help would be appreciated.

    Mep-003a

Hi Guys, When my generator first failed, it just slowed down to idle then died. Linkage to injector pump was holding to max throddle. I changed filters, vented air, and established fuel flow up to the injector pump. The motor started and seemed to run fine (with no load). Two weeks later when...

Alternative fuels for diesel: impact on emissions?

Bjorn, Do you think a run of straight bio would wash the paraffin from WMO, fats from fryer oil, and other soluables through the fuel filters? Just a thought to run an hour or two of 100% bio to free the filters... Earl
