About year and a half ago I was getting THOSE grinding noises in the bell housing area when I fight start up the truck and oil is cold. I gave it to the local transmission guy in town and $100.00 later he TIGHTEN up everything that was loose. Now the noise it back. Its 57 degrees here in new...

So Riddle me this Batman...2cents......Whats the worst design feature on a cucv M1009 ? 1-The glow plug system 2-roll up rear window 3- Figuring out the correct seat cover's color on the cucv :confused:

Every now and then,,,,,the WAIT light come on like its surpose too..But then its never does all the time...If I work the ingition switch back and fowarth about 20 times..Then the wait light will come on aua Can the glow plug card cut in and out ?

Has anyone replaced their fues panel ? I has a bad short in the left side tail light and it kept blowing out my headlites fuses,,,Once i fix the short it soften up the plastic for the fuse area and now the fuse sits loose and the lights cut in and out . please help:-|

My buddy Dylan bought a CUCV from a used car dealer here on long island back in around early 1990's..They had on also BF goodrich on them..i should try and post the picture.

Here is the $62.00 dollar question....what make of tires came on from the factory on my 1985 M1009 ...Im saying BF Goodrich...Because my truck had a NOS set of tires put on being sold for auction (BF Goodrich)..Mind you my cucv showing 45k on it and I was told only one man was in charge of this...

I was going to use my Ing. key into the window crank...BUT it will not go in?? Did it get changed from the goverment ?

when i tried to crank up the window....the crank handle just spins and feels like its not grabbing any thing for the window to go up and down?? Please help

Only the water in fuel light comes on...goes off rite away. The volt gauge dosen't drop to far --- I can see the difference in dropping of the gauge when the glow plug lights come on... All lights come on when the Ing. switch is turned on...Takes about almost ten times today flick the switch...
