If the pan lip has an issue it’s always going to leak. It was a brand new pan that was installed. 3 attempts and still leaks enough to cause an issue. I wish the OEM pan and seals would of done the trick as I don’t want to put out the cash for a machined pan but it’s that or one day run too low...
This past weekend I did my 3rd attempt to get my transmission pan leak fixed. It didn’t happen. So I want to go with a machined pan and I am looking for suggestions on a pan that is good to go with. One with a drain. One that will clear the cross member of which mine has about 3/8 of extra...
I have a friend who’s husband passed away at the beginning of the year. She has some heavy pieces of scrap metal and a likely non working mini front loader she wants to get rid of.
She is just south of Imlay City. She has a pintle trailer that is heavy duty enough to carry the scrap but has no...
I’ve been wondering if my truck isn’t locking up as well. When I’m doing 65 MPH via GPS I’m at 2500 RPM on the nose. The trans shifts wonderfully but I’d sure like to have the RPM a bit lower. :/
I’ll be there Friday. Always looking for humvee tires and vinyl front camo doors for humvee. Also looking for humvee memorabilia.
I will bring a 2 man arctic humvee top (real insulation) for sale/trade.
Likely some other humvee parts oh and a camo cargo cover for an FMTV? The sides have a...
There was a notice put out some time ago due to this issue and replacement bulbs were sent out. I somehow got a few of the new "kits" with the new proper bulbs to correct this issue. The bulbs in the kit are ge1864, not sure what the bulb # was that originally came in the trucks.
Have you guys checked the differentials to see if those are the same? Just because these are trucks doesn't mean he shouldn't ask or wonder why similar trucks are acting so differently. It is a good thing to figure out if there is an issue now vs later.
Guys,
I am looking for the part # for the rear passenger side brake line that screws into the brake caliper. I had a good bolt failure in that area and the steel section of the line got kinked. I am thinking its a 12460511 but i am not sure. I can't find the paperwork from the kit to verify...
I've changed my filter once in 15 years. If the restriction gauge isn't showing a plugged air filter it's still good to go.

One note i'd like to add is the 4l80 internal wiring harness issue that they can leak. I had to replace the harness inside my transmission because it was damaged. The one I replaced it with was not of the best quality and the trans fluid would leak through the bulkhead plug and seep through...

Got the rear driveshaft installed. Body bolted down. Evans coolant in. Lights are working except two side marker lights. Got that dang wiring harness connector leak still but it seems to have subsided.
Some other things to do...
