Streaks are surfactants in the paint coming out. A wash or couple of rains would clear it. Normally the wood would soak that up, but the surfaces we are putting it on are non porous.

I actually did call Behr with a question and they picked up the phone and answered it surprisingly.

Did my Jimmy a few months back (non MV) used a HF sprayer and thinned out the paint quite a lot w/ floetrol and a tiny bit of water.

What headset unit is that? I know of someone else looking for something like that.

That lead will make a good barrier. Heavier the better. Not sure where you get lead sheeting from nowadays...

Closed cell foam will not retain water like open-cell foam does. Open cell foam is like the sponge on your sink, vs neoprene like wetsuit material.

You can sound deaden any vehicle, with enough time money and energy. But you need to do it right. Bedliner is not a sound deadener. It may help /w some rattles and lower the resonant frequency of the panel, but that's not going to remove the sound. You have to convert that sound energy...

I've heard both good and bad about Monster. Be sure you're getting what you're paying for.

Not sure I understand why you have such a problem w/ the belt rubbing. These 6.2s were pretty widely used, and haven't really heard of this problem elsewhere. Was a bracket changed out on this such that the belt alignment is screwy?
