    Oshkosh MK48, any experience/owners?

I may have a spare jack / pump. They are very heavy and a expensive item.

    Bad News Georgia HMMWV Owners

the civilian Hummers had bracing inside of there steel doors. The 92/93 Hummers also still had the c pillar behind the front seats, that got removed in 94, along with moving the batteries to the engine compartment. I had a 93 (same as 92 other then 92 was purchased direct from Am General) when...

    Bad News Georgia HMMWV Owners

Action, you hit the nail right on the head. Thank you When the Hmmwv's are purchased from GP you agree to some terms, one of those being the "offroad only". By you going and registering the HMMWV you gambled and went against the terms you agreed to and now your bitching because you got caught...

    Bad News Georgia HMMWV Owners

You better get your facts straight. The Hummer does infact meet a federal standard. Does your HMMWV have a collapsing steering colum, dash crash pad, anti hood decapitation brackets, dot lighting, three point seat belts (most don't) or Side impact protection, no it does not and the Hummer does...

What have you done to your HEMTT/PLS/MK48 this week

Psycho or a complete DUMB $hit. It is because of these types of iditots that it is getting harder to buy, insure and register these big trucks. That FPU should have NEVER been driven on the streets without a back half. It still never seizes to amaze me the stupidity of some people!

I am about to install a 5.3 gas burner

I think the ultimate motor swap is a 4bt Cummins. My 96 H1 will be getting one as soon as the 6.5td hiccups. You can easily add 20% more power (along with better fuel efficiency), with the advantage of easy to work on and the factory cooling is way more then enough. As far as the gas versus...

    Supercharger

Whipple had a kit many years ago. My friend actually did all the testing with his 92 H1 wagon. I believe it required a 1" body lift if my memory serves me right. Every so often you see a used kit come up forsale.

What have you done to your HEMTT/PLS/MK48 this week

The A2 has the electronic transmission shifter along with air ride seats with 4 point harnesses. You will also notice the dash has a slightly different layout with some idiot lights

What have you done to your HEMTT/PLS/MK48 this week

Any chance of getting a picture. Mine had two deka batteries when I got it and it just barley started it. I'm debating between going 4 original batteries or two 8Ds

Has any one tried putting a pair of 8D batteries in their HEMTT? My batteries decided Veterans day last week would be their last day so it is time for a upgrade.
