    Interior light

I have a red/white dome light from Galls, intended for use in police cars and the like. Works like a charm, although it's manually switched. Disciple, You'll have 1 or 2 lamp housings under the dash near the heater vents, that's what lights everyone's talking about. Same as on a "normal" blazer.

    M1009 off road

Depends on what you've done to them... Picture #1, 6" skyjacker lift, stock axles, 35" BFG AT tires Picture #2, Dana 60 dually hubs, 14 bolt with spacers, HMMWV 12 bolt rims and Goodyear hmmwv tires w/ runflats, same lift. I'm running 4.10's for gears with a govlock in the back, open front.

OK a little help,,, pump and roll on a fire truck that does not really allow for that

Moving, while you have handlines deployed? That really, really sounds like a bad idea... Pump and roll is done more effectively with a bumper turret, IMHO... but, you don't have a big enough booster tank onboard to really be able to use it for long anyway. I think you're better served...

Looking at a Deuce.......and would like some help.

Yeah, I'd be leaving them in since the truck would have 12v accessories on-board... just run a QD cable like for the tow truck jumper cables or removable winches, to the slide-in. That, and if stupidity hits and I drained the truck's batteries down, I'd have cables set up so I could disconnect...

Looking at a Deuce.......and would like some help.

I had the opportunity in the military to be able to operate a couple M35A2's and found the experience enjoyable, even given the circumstances. Now, I'm a civilian.... but I still like "Green Iron". My offroad rig is a CUCV with a good bit of modifications on it... and I'm looking at picking up...

Swapping out overdrive for a larger gear

Ok, no hurry from me... just read a couple different places on here that you were doing it... and of all the different options (Overdrive aux tranny, axle ratio change, mungo tires) just swapping 5th sounded like the best to me. Thanks :)

Swapping out overdrive for a larger gear

Any new info about the OD gear replacement? I'm looking at getting an A2 and it'd be nice to do 60 comfortably (as in not costing me an engine eventually) with stock-ish tires.

    Rims and Tires

if you're actually going to take it anywhere serious offroad I would highly recommend some OTHER size than 16.5 due to there being no actual bead surface on the inside of the rim. If you air down, then take the tire off the bead on an off-camber situation you will probably NOT be able to trail...

    Pics of built up CUCVs....

not much to see, but when i get a chance i'll take a closeup picture. basically it's a 18"x18" 1/4" plate with 1/4" angle iron risers/crossbar for mounting the antennas on. It also has 1 riser per side and 2 in the center that go up high enough to function as brush deflectors. Basically the...

Anyone know bolt sizes for some parts?

Yeah, the -20 -20p -30 all didn't have any dimensions, i searched the site, the net... couldn't find the data. Autozone, Napa, and Shmucks all didn't have any diagrammage or schematis that even displayed how many let alone what sizes. Not that it matters now, My friend found them all after he...

Anyone know bolt sizes for some parts?

39 views, and my cucv is still sitting with the transmission on the bench, transfer case on the floor, the driveshafts just hanging limp. Thanks for the info.

    Humvee project

well considering that you can milk a duramax to get a crew cab pickup to do sub-11 in the quarter mile... a duramax HMMWV H1A mutant would have the capacity to at LEAST turn some heads when it takes off like a raped ape.
