Acmunro,
I have this box laying out back. I wouldn't miss a corner off of it for my $time$. Shipping might be the most $$. You might be able to trim above the damage, 90 degrees to the edges and rivet a corner on with a backing plate behind them both? We used to repaid those Postal Service LLV's...
I have three SECM boxes. One is really nice and two are about ready to be scrapped as they are kinda beat up. If you need doors, etc I might be able to help. I had five M1031's or what was left of them. Built two and have lots of left overs. Engines, bumpers, a good cab, grille guards, some body...
I have 4.10's in my M1031. Nothing runs well up here (7200 ft) unless it has a turbo! A better idea is an overdrive, either a gear vendor or 700r4 or 4l80E and leaving the 4:56's!!!
Been there, done that!
I had a couple of leaks develop on my 1008 after I installed the Banks kit:
Double check that the rubber caps on the intake manifold are still there and not dry-rotted and leaking. The caps are installed at the fittings that used to work with the crankcase ventilation, on the sides under where...
Hey Mark,
Just another thing, there are two different female input shafts on the 205's. One is short- sticks out maybe two-three inches and fits the 400 with the output shaft that sticks out about 4-5 inches. The other 205 input is around 5 inches and fits the later 400's with the output shaft...
Howdy,
The truck was sold about a year ago. New CARC paint (camo) new driver's door. I hated to sell it and miss it and the mileage it got, but I had some medical bills to pay! My share of my wife's helicopter ride to the hospital was $6000... The truck ended up in Chicago and the buyer is happy...

Mog axles have 7.56:1 ratio do you gotta do something!! I have no idea of strength of swapping the planetary around. The TTC stuff gets pretty bad and it held up so??
PM sent to you. The PTO couples to a driveshaft couples to a pulley, mounted in a pillow block on a bracket bolted between the frame rails. The pulley of course spins the generator pulley. I might be wrong, but I think the pulley are the same size. Whew! Hope that makes sense. That gets the...
Don't the M1010's have an NP 205 transfer case? if so, it will not bolt up to a 700r4. You could use the np208 out of the burb (assuming it is 4wd). Many would frown on this because the 205 is stronger. You can put a 205 behind a 700r4. You would need a 205 and adapter plate that was behind a...
