Hmmmm... It's not a "Diesel"; it's a multifuel that burns a proprietary mixture of already disposed of crap that has already been taxed and used. We should br charging them to get rid of it!
Isn't this the kind of thing that the Colonies trounced King George for a while back?
My step father was a trucker for most of his life and taught me how to speed shift! I used to do it in my little Chevey Chevet and later my Chevy Spectrum. I first recall him telling about an argument he had with another guy who said it was impossible to shift a truck without using the clutch...
Should one only double clutch on the down-shift or can it be done while up-shifting as well? I only tried it while up shifting, but I only went a couple miles (one stop sign and slowing down to turn into my drive way). TIA!
A neighbor told me that shifting the Deuce would be smoother if I double-clutched. I tried it (clutch in to take it out of gear, disengage clutch, clutch engaged again and place it in to higher gear) and it did seem to shift smoother.
Does anyone here double clutch and is there any reason one...
It's ironic, isn't it, that the scoundrels should be running for the hills and not the freedom loving folk? But there it is... that little spark that started America from Americans who wanted to be left alone to fail or prosper at their own hand and not under the thumb of another! That...
I had a salesman contact me about the latest system that Rory is refering to. He said it would work with a 9v battery or the 24v system in the Deuce. I think one might want a kind of surge protector of sorts on the aviation intercom, or just be sure to turn it off before shut down of the Deuce...
See this? This is cowardice. A low-life, puke, ne'er-do-well who doesn't have the balls to voice what he "feels" to the person who makes him feel it! Instead he runs to this figment of the liberal-weenie imagination- "The Codes Enforcement Officer!" These are scoundrel days, my friends. Send...
I purchased a 10" centrifuge from Tim at Wolverine Technologies prior to Christmas in order to take advantage of the $100.00 discount he was offering at the time. My observations are as follows:
* Tim answered all of my questions prior to the purchase in a timely manner.
* It arrived in the...
Welcome aboard! I'm a newb myself in the central NY area. Some of us hope to get together close to home this summer. If it pans out it would be good to have you there, Deuce or no Deuce.
I didn't wade through every post on this thread, but Eric and Bill from Hot Shot are heading to (or may be in) California. I don't know what they have to bring back if anything. Look up user name "Heavy". Maybe he could haul it reasonably to the east coast? Just a thought. Hope it gets saved.
Glad you guys like the link. The A-10's do it for me. I saw one of the 20mm nose canons on display at the NYS Fair, I think it was, when I was a kid. Amazing.
I agree. My young children often look at this site with me and I know I don't have to worry about pictures of half naked women or cursing in a narrative. Thanks for that, SS!
M813rc,
I do the same thing! I'll get it to work when I get a second to mess with it again. I'm betting my camera just reset itself when I changed the batteries. Thanks for all of the input on my Q!
John
It may be a size issue. My rechargable battery died a couple days ago and I plopped in a couple AA'a. I didn't reset the camera at all, so it might be taking MEGA pictures. Thank you for the help.
John
OK, Thanks guys. My camera was working to upload pics here a week ago, so I wrongly assumed that the IMG code was the issue. I don't know what the deal is with my camera then. The format is in jpg. so I gotta play with it I guess. Thanks again!
I have tried uploading pics into a post and I can't. I have always been able to do this and now see that the "IMG code is OFF". I tried to change this setting in my user CP section, but no luck. I am uploading from my camera and NOT from a hosting web site.
The "Posting Rules" at the bottom of...
