Brakes are overrated ;) I did know that, Should have mentioned I work at a shop and know what I am doing when it comes to vehicles; I know about covering exposed wires and such.
the faceplate has been removed, wires cut, there is what appears to be an air line cut right there. Turn signal wand removed with wires cute. There will be a lot of work. It is the one from the sig I am 90% sure about that motor.
*I managed to get the gauge cluster back (long story) but want to...
Okay so I think I have a bad rear head gasket. I Have a feeling many things will need to changed, The entire gauge cluster is missing. Can it be cranked over without that via the starter switch to do a compression test?
I went to turn it over with a breaker bar but it looks like the radiator...
I have a bill of sale... I know the previous owner is legitimate as I service his many MV vehicles including Unimogs and a VW thing as well as other deuces and 5 ton & 10 ton wreckers...
It was registered in NY previously. It is a 65'
The previous owner had it stored at a friend's place who...
I have a 65' duece... It has been cannibalised so I do not know if there should be an In/Out switch on the dash. How can I determine? There is a manual lever I imagine for Hi/Lo
Thanks guys...
I do not as it came with the plow when I got it. However, It was a W/W but did not come with a winch and I do believe it was custom made as the person i got it from kept the second mount that was with the truck (probably because its custom) for another deuce he has.
Yes a city sized snow plow. I will let you know as soon as i try it. I just got the duece and im still working getting the brakes going. the master is frozen so i just got it out today in the 124degree weather
Thanks! I will more than likely be installing a gargantuan 24v to 12v transformer to make my life easier with driver comforts. Hopefully it doesn't draw too much. Anything else I need to know about?
I want to use it for offroading and rally's so all low speed. I want to experience of adding it on to a vehicle and being able to say I did it. I will definitely have a lockable setup. What do you think of pneumatic over elec?
I always up for a good challenge. I will mock something up and do an alignment test before making it permanent. Buying another vehicle would honestly be too easy and cost too much. I guess this would be a good time to mention I am 17.
