Hey Mark, one thing you might want to double check is the air brake valve. Mine locked up on me coming back from a cooking I did a couple months ago. Was working fine till then. Fortunately it was only a couple miles away, but man they got hot!! The brakes won't release or won't apply depending...
Hey Dan those were what I had before!!! Although mine weren't as nice as yours!! I didn't have the backrests. Had to make sure everyone had someone else to sit back to back with!!! hahaha
Haha pretty fair sized one!!. I generally carry some of the folks from my Mom and Dad's church in the Christmas parades in the two small towns near where I live. My kids have a blast throwing candy to everyone!!
Guys I finally got around to taking some pics of the fab job I did for running a set of center troop seats. I was kinda pressed for time when I built these (Christmas Parades) and didn't have the time or wherewithall to make up a set of brackets just as the book had them. I also didn't really...
Hey guys the sand I use mainly is a medium grit blasting sand. I think the number is BX60. It will strip it down to the bare metal pretty quickly. At least it has on all the stuff I have blasted. I don't know if that BX60 equates to play sand or not. I have not used play sand, but I would think...
Just FYI for any of you using the MBU's. I have a few spare parts for them if anyone needs any. I have new fuel nozzles, new burner tubes (the honeycomb looking tube in the center), and I also have conversion kits to upgrade the MBU100's to MBU103's. Oh yeah and I had a die made to cut new fuel...
Hey Ferro, if you want to get rid of one of those griddles and maybe a roof jack or two let me know.
I have a 20 something foot trailer that is on standby!!! Just have to throw all the accumulated crap off of it!!!!!
Hey Walter I have a few M-2's that I should probably get rid of. I converted one to propane, works pretty good. At any rate let me know.
Mike, let me know as well when you want to go. Have trailer will travel!!!!
Jason I think the word you are looking for is oxidation....
Adam, you buy the one from Eastover? I thought about bidding on that one for spare parts.
Speaking of spare parts, I have a few odds and ends that you guys might be able to use. While I am nowhere near Mike's league in the parts arena, I have a good many parts for the MBU's, cutlery rolls, etc...
It sure looks like factory work. The top is new albiet second hand to me. I did get it from Wreckerman though.... no telling where he "acquired" it!!!!! hahaha
Wayne, that helps. The cover I have has an extra section or flap on both sides and the front and back. Its sewn on where the ears are that the rubber cord is fed thru to attach the sides and ends to the bed. When you drape the cover over the bows this hangs down below the rubber cord ears past...
The corners aren't the problems. I figured those out ok, the cover has a flap that comes down past the "ears" where the rubber super cord runs thru. This flap has six or so rope ties along it's length (sides). It appears that this flap should be folded back under each side (and both ends). If...
Anyone have a copy of the instructions for installing the vinyl cargo cover on a deuce? I found an old thread from Ryan Gill that said he had uploaded them to the technical articles section, but since the old site is down I can't access them. I have tried to get in touch with Ryan but haven't...
Hey Phil I'm glad you finally got home. I have the video of the beast coming to life, but I can't upload it to the site. The camera uses a MP-4 format. Anyone know how to convert it or somehow to get it uploaded?
You have a chance to get the other issues taken care of yet?
