I finally just pulled mine off and took them to NAPA, and they measured it. The first time I tried to the get numbers without doing that they thought they matched them. AND THEY DIDN'T.:x Trust me
Right now it's at a drive train shop in OK city. had to leave em there overnight. :-( When I get it back I'll take some more pics of the interior add ons, the winch and few more of the tires for ya. LOL:beer:

I used him on several GL auctions. He's reasonable and easy to get along with.

Here are the pics, its been a long ole road. But he's finally done. Meet "MAX".... We named the M1009 after a buncha cerveza's, a buddy of mine was ridin in the passenger seat and seen the 'Max Speed 55 MPH' then we had our name.:-D
It's amazing what great ideas can come to ya, after you have...
I want to put a step on my M1009, but I'm a bigger feller and think that the step should be mounted to the frame, instead of the cab. What do ya'll suggest?
Thanks Guys for all the help. We dont get real rough with it. Just drivin round huntin hogs and a few cold ones on the farm. I think I'll see how long the original axles last then upgrade after they puke. Everybody says Dana 44's but what about the 60? My tires are 16'' so I won't have up grade...
I have the same trailer. First you have to adjust the wiring harness so that when it does dump, it doesn't tear loose. Next pull the pins and set the two brake handles. then get in your vehicle and back up. That's IT!!!! setting the pins back into tow position is a pain unless you put smaller...
Mine was doin the same thing, Ive got my Gen in the pick up to take the repair shop. Im hopin they can rebuild it. Did you tell them its off of a 24 volt system when they rebuilt it?
Here's the "HOGSLAYER" got the tops for it. Repainted with all new rubber seals in the windows and doors, new gauges and a few lights to see the piggys at sundown. :-D
Figured out it was the GP Relay under the hood on the firewall. Ive a new 24 volt relay comin from PJ Power. Thanks to a thread I found on SS

I figured it out!!!!!!!! Just for the heck of it, I wanted to see if my Generators were charging. So I laid a screwdriver to the back of the Gen. to check if it is magnatized with the engine running. One was stronger than the other. So I disconnected the stronger one and my lights on the dash...
Pulled the wires off the relay, the dash light is still on. when i turn my heater fan switch on with the key off, the "Oil" light goes out and the "Gen 1" light gets brighter. What do you think?
