The np 205 case used in a 1991 model is the same as 1985 thru 1990 models except for the rear tail housing which has a speed sensor . All the 1991 models that i have seen have a bolt on rear yoke.

All gmc/chevy 4x4 m1008 and m1009 models the speedometer cable hooks to the transfer case not the tranny.

1991 was the 1st year for the 4l80e. And the 1 ton models did have a 4l80e behind the 6.2. Gm never put a 700r4 or 4l60e in a 3500 series 1 ton 4x4

Turbo 400 dipstick and the 4l80e dipstick are the same. You will need the crossmember . You will also need the 4x4 shift lever from a 1991 model. The columns are the same. I would get the complete wiring harness if possible including under dash harness.

The tps should be on the injector pump. Most of the parts needed for swap cannot be bought. Get everything you can off donor vehicle

First - let me say that i have 2 trucks with 4l80e/np205 set ups . One is a 1991 all original.all oem 4l80e models use a speed sensor . The speed sensor is in the tailshaft of the transfer case - not the transmission. The stock speedometer will not work. There is no computer on the 6.2...
