One thing to remember about these bearings, they are not designed to be run with oil in them, but with pressurized oil in them. The pressurized oil keeps the crank and rods "floating" in a thin film of high pressure oil. When the pressure is low enough that the bearing actually contacts the...
OK. Call Ga. Valve and fitting, ask for Linda. 1/4" brass ferrule sets are B-400-SET. They come 10 to a stick, and in 100 packs. Price is $.56 per set if you order 100, maybe a tad more if you get 10. They are in Ga., (678)-624-0949. These are sized in 1/16" increments, 300 is 3/16, 400 is 4/16...
Those fittings are Swagelok, or Parker "Bite Loc" fittings. The Parkers come from McMaster Carr, The Swageloks come from Ga. Valve and fitting. Ferrule sets are about .90 each, but they are high pressure rated. They are sold according to OD of the tubing, and are available in Brass, SS, and...
That shouild be the exhaust for the air cyl. If you plug it, the cyl. can't move back and forth as the air is switched. This is a common feature on most industrial air actuators. If you have a constant air bleed, you could have a bad valve or a bad cylinder packing. Either one should be an easy fix.
RE: maker/source of reel?
I want to build a box to mount under the bed to carry my towbar and assorted goodies around in. Make a door that closes down with a battery box latch and it will look military.
The air hose reel is a great idea!

The lines are looped like that so you can re-connect everything in an emergency (if needed). Keeps all necessary parts in place so they don't get lost.
Get a pyro and hook it up. Mine runs great with the FDC bypassed! It also is running the EGT's WAY too high! I can hit 1400 with no trouble at all. I don't really know the "burn down the engine" point, but the general consensus seems to be not to exceed 1150 to 1200 F on a long hill. I'm going...
RE: brake fluid FAQ
When I used to do a lot of truck brakes, I would figure 2 quarts of fluid to do a full bleed after a full brake job. That was 8 wheel cylinders (many old trucks had 2 cyls. per drum), master cyl, and booster (vacuum). I would lose about 1/2 pint bleeding the wheels, the rest...
You should be able to use either the 4 arm pressure plate/5 puck disk or the 3 arm pressure plate/6 puck disk interchangeably. Which is better? They are probably equal. I would imagine the 6 puck clutch assy. would probably be a bit smoother than the 5 puck setup. The 5 puck clutch uses metallic...
