    Could be a dying lift pump or clogged sock in tank. You could also be getting air in your system somewhere.

    Biggest effect on mileage for me is my right foot. Rolling coal at every stop can kill your mileage fast.

    Well that's good I thought I had the same problem but it was the ip. Anyway good choice with the fuel filter system I have a very similar one. One hint, once the bleed bolt stops DO NOT apply any additional torque, just stop. The bolt strips out very easily, ask me how I know haha. I guess...

    You will have to take off the manifold. Another possibility is that you are leaking fuel from your injector pump. Does it take more than 5 seconds of cranking to start?

    You could also have the turn the truck on with it warm with the heater on and loosen it a little bit like bleeding fuel lines.

    As long as your glowplugs, batteries, HPCA advance and high idle are working these motors are excellent in the cold weather.

    I have wellman 070's, no additive except extra chainsaw 2 stroke oil sometimes. I have two very old 500 ca batteries. I have started first try in temps down to zero.

    I live 60 miles from a stoplight and its even longer to a radiator shop so pretty much everything i do I fix myself. I have soldered a few radiators before, can you solder the tubes? There is also a lot of white corrosion on the inside (ughh).

    I did that, you should be able to see it leaking out of the fins shouldn't you? I just see a puddle flowing near the bottom hose.
