Attached pictures of relay. The purple has a black wire spliced into it because it was too short when whoever did the mod. Anyway. The black wire connected to terminal 3 is the purple wire in question. The light blue wire is adjacent.

I isolated the ground myself. The cs130 I found was exactly that. The pass side is a d case. Same alt but different case. Better cooling. were gonna find out in the next day or two if it worked or not. If I could replan and do it over I'd go for the hmmwv alt mounts but I don't know too much...

The dash Carrier unit and firewall are empty by comparison to most vehicles even those of the same era. Should be pretty simple. I agree with cucvrus, it disconnects nice and easy. Nothing special. The rubber grommet pushes out with an easy finger push. Just don't cut ur fingers on the firewall...

Oh and do both gauges read 12v in the c ucv or does one read 12 and the other 24? That would answer the pass alt terminals. I forgot. But I think it reads 24 even though both alts are 12
ive been going for F/I, however i could be wrong. im just thinking based on what im reading in the manual, if I use the S then the L and F/I are nullified?
