I took the bench seat out and I am installing some Corbeau seats. I failed to take note of how the seat belts were installed. I have new ones from LMC Truck.
Can someone post a photo of how the seat belts go in? I seem to be missing a mounting point some where in this process? Was one mount...
Ask them if they understand the 24V charging system and will assure you it is working correctly. That it is the part of these trucks you can only get support for here on this forum. Does the 6.2 run, any body can tell you that. That's not the big issue.
Honestly have the seller send you...
Here is the deal. There are several good places to work on the 6.2 Diesel but none of them will have a clue when it comes to the Military specific stuff. They will have no clue when it comes to the alternators and charging system. Also all the places are in the east valley not north Phoenix.
That is exactly what happened to me too !!!

So maybe it is more common then though?
I have an M1008 and did a 4" front, 5" rear ORD lift along with a 203/205 Doubler. I also built a flat bed and shortened the truck a bit. So I am not as long as a normal M1008 with the longer t-case and axle back toward the cab 2". I do not have any vibrations what so ever, but I am still...
Do you just add the red wire? Or do you remove, replace or modify something that is already there. I searched even just the titles, but this post has the best picture, the one you posted here.
I have resolved the issue, the truck is now back to normal. I did what was suggested here and it was spot on.
When I pulled the alternator, the wire to the capacitor was broken off, replaced that part. I replaced the tri-diode and rectifier and found the plastic brush holder broken off in...
I have ordered all the individual parts from ASP. I will have a stock on hand for any future repairs.
2 x DIODE TRIO
2 x RECTIFIER
1 x CAPACITOR
1 x BRUSH HOLDER ASSY.
4 x REPAIR HARNESS
4 x RESISTOR
Thank you for the help!

10-4, Which of those parts are tri-diode and rectifier? I will just order a new re-build kit and skip re-bearing it. Change the internals again.
Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Everything was working fine yesterday then yesterday afternoon all of a sudden the gen 2 bulb is no longer on or off, but dimly lit.
Here is what I checked:
Front Battery Engine Running: 14.32 volts
Rear Battery Engine Running: 12.42 volts, (gen 2 is not charging)
Alternator exciter plug...
OK, I have this very slow weeping of some fluid that seems to be antifreeze. This is the front of the motor on the passenger side, head area. Anyone have any ideas, I have a new water pump on the way. Is this possibly a blown head gasket? It runs down to the ORD cross member below the oil...
The t-case mounts bolt right on, these engine mounts do need a bit of tweeking. The poly chunk matches the factory rubber but the side tabs are a bit off. I had to cut the side tabs off and re-drill the mount holes.
They work, but maybe look for a product from another company that will work...
Poly Mounts, Energy Suspension:
Engine: 3-1116G
T-Case: 3-1106G
I recently installed these on my truck. The t-case bolts right up the engine mounts you pull the original mount open up the shell and replace the rubber insert with the poly insert. The 2 rivets are drilled out, I tac-welded the...
I got all the parts I needed to re-build the entire D60 from Off Road Design, I was ordering anyway and they have all the parts. I also installed an ARB Air Lockers and 35 spline inner and outter, yukons.
I changed the rear main and front main on mine, you don't have to pull the transmission just the oil pan. I guees I shoud day I "paid" someone to do it. But I figured the same thing 25 year old seals.
