Replaced the soft top support rods. Installed a 'new" instrument cluster.

Bumping this up. I have a starter, slave port, and a starter button. Any help on mounting starter would help. Looks like it will require almost a complete disassembly of the gen. to fit up in there.:shock:

Oh and the 762 is a flatbed trailer. Some had things mounted on them like mine has a lighttower on it. :-P

The frames of the 416 & 762 are the same. I think the 762 is rated for 3/4 ton partially due to the lack of extra weight of the body panels bring which can increase load capacity.2cents

My canvas M38a1 top from WeeBee webbing is GREAT! It fits like a glove and has that military canvas smell. :beer:2cents

When doing the camo on my duece and trailers we painted a base forrest green then chalked the out lines for the pattern and painted over the chalk. Just don't dig the chalk into the base paint and you will never see it in the end. The m101a2 i use for shows had crisp lines from the factory...

You are missing the two safety chains. Looks like the diamond plate inside is reinforcement for the mount on the front of teh trailer that was definitely not original. I bet it was a rack for a lift jack. Since the bottom sidewalls are not rotted i bet the bed itself will be in good shape. Nice...

All look good but one more option is available. No canvas and the bows stowed in the forward storage racks of the trailer. Personally i like the canvas on regardless of condition of the truck. I aspire to have that combination some day.[thumbzup]

The first jeep in this thread looks like it has a duece cab cover on it. They fastened the normal bows straight up with duece cab reinforcement bows and the canvas appears to be one piece without added side curtains. [thumbzup]

No clue. It was like that when transferred from old site i think.

The seat in the first pic looks like a swivel office chair. It looks like one with foam padding.
