I have a flip top jerry can that is similar to the water can but the hole is round instead of the toilet bowl shape. I was told it is for transporting food like stews and soups. Sorry no pics it just got packed for anticipated move.
David if it is what i think you may be talking about I had a chirp sound in the cab and it drove me crazy until my wife figured out it was the blower for the heater/defroster. I had not thought much about it until I stumbled on this thread. If it is my old truck adjust the speed on the fan...
Just a suggestion to anyone that has a 3/4 ton trailer like this. Put a rolling jack on the driver side of the drawbars. It saves your back and is easy to move on concrete even with a load. I set the main leg down when storing long term or overnight so not to put pressure on non-original...
Ditto for some of the responses above. Mine leaked in two places, the oil filter cover needs to be really tight and I had a leak at the oil press sensor. It did not matter the speed though.
I pulled my M101A2 behind my Silverado with a load of parts 2x @ 60-70 mph on the interstate. I also picked up M101A1's before & pulled the same but they were empty.:driver:

Why did you have it in while in use? If it is in the brake doesn't work right? I put a pin in only if needed for backing. But I will go get a pin like you suggested tho thanks.
