That is correct on the apple pie.. its... smoooth.... lol Anyways.... Im looking for some floor panels as well, as mine were .... uh....repaired in the past... but not with floor pan sheet metal... the floor by both doors (About 12" from door towards trans hump ) will have to be cut...

Well, after many beers or twelve... i finally finished fabricating a custom transfercase crossmember /skid plate for my 09. it give me about 2-3" more in clearance and will fully protect my doubler.... Just got done painting it with some rustproof primer and some good ole kryon OD green camo...
If i were you... i would use ORD's Steering brace, and possibly the Frame repair/ upgrade kit first... than maybe hydroassist.. This will at least strengthen your components, as these body style trucks are infamous for having... "weak" steering, especially if you do ANYTHING above a stock...
Still scratching my head... trying to sort out how to finish reworking transfercase crossmember using 2x2 sq tubing.... let me sit here a min... and drink a beer and think some more....:popcorn:

On your wiper issue... clean all the connections on motor, and go ahead and replace turn signal/wiper switch.. as i had the same problem with mine... its fairly cheap and easy to do....
Been busy... completely redesigning\fabbing new transfercase crossmember.. i have the 203/205 doubler instead of the ole NP208.. original setup was running 2 factory crosmembers.. but still gave to much flex while in double low... so much so.. it would rock and the floorpan would hit shifter...

Cool mod and trick.... always wondered how to move rear glass and not just break it or drag a heavy battery though salavge yard try to hot wire window motor.. i want to get a whole motorized gate, and swap guts into mine... as the handle is not broken, but in time it will....
Thats all well and good. until for some reason in the future, you get pulled over, and the Cop/deputy/trooper or constable does a check, and then starts harressing you as the registration doesnt match the MV... Same thing happen to me a few moons ago... and it wasnt pretty.... almost went...
Seems like they just hack at both until it fit.. Would have been more challenging and looked atlot better if they intergrated the vette suspension on to the K-5 frame....and the corvette instrument cluster into the K5 dash while relocating the vette drivetrain in the k5 Stock postion...
