I had picked up 3 Front shafts and had retubed and with 8" spline... both front and rear show about 2-2 1/2" with 4" lift.. on recenterd axles... entire suspension was reworked with 52" Springs all the way around... with Axles dead centered on wheel wells... Because of my doubler as well...
just ensure which ever ones you pickup locally are of the same specs.... you will be fine... I swapped mine out to Duralast ( autozone) 1000ca's last year havent had a issue yet... knock on wood.....:beer:
Well i got the dual Zombie Hunter lights mounted ( 24v 450w military aircraft landing lights ) and relocated the original fog lights. Still need to trim bottom mounting bolt( its too long ) and wire them up. Believe i will just run directly to 24v side of batteries with the neg through a 24v...
Well...my new bezels are in..... its about time to install the Zombie Hunter aircraft landing lights on ole girl... Still havent quite figured out how i will end up wiring them up... but.. at least they will be mounted... Im gonna have to relocate my existing fog lights.. and post some pics...
i would run what you have... worse thing that will happen... if offroading and it pops out... limp back to level ground and put it back together.. and than.. find your way to a shop to retube it longer, an inch or 2"...

I would try a salavge yard... and pull one from a 6.5L Its just a simple 3/4" ( i think )rubber hose going down to where the mech fuel pump belongs.. and its just a flat plate with a hose nipple on it... It will save from dropping oil pan and haing to install a bung to it... and will...

I took some 1.25" angle and bent it around 2 civi batteries and than welded it together to make a tray... Bolted it to the front exisiting tray.. and with a piece of flat stock and the exisitng all thread made a tie down bracket... placing both batteries on the one tray... its a little...

Ive spent a considerable amount of time searching old threads and posts.. regarding installing AC.. others went the route of NAP kits OD iron kits, etc... however, i've always not really liked the install... function yes.. but not the looks.. Anyways.. ive thought maybe doing a hybrid setup...
Shankem..... thanks again for the tubes.... These things are tough...... and HEAVY.......looking back.. maybe 5/16" plate and 1/4" wall rails.. may have been a bit extreme... the Frame flexes more than these do... ( even if they do flex... hard tell...lol....)...
