Yes, they are completely different. The soft door strikers are like a formed wire design, while the hard door strikers are a solid metal rod. Can you post pictures?

Humvees are still in production by AM General, and are expected to stay in service until 2050.

The HMMWV isnt going anywhere anytime soon. It works for what it needs to do. Look at the M2HB 50 cal. In service since 1933, because it just works. Just my opinion.

This will never happen. The most important things about a humvee are survivability and reliability. Both will be severely compromised in a hybrid system. Battery fires and complicated electronics, just what the humvee needs 🙄

Looks like you already have the roof adapter, thats a hard to find item. If you want a full rotating turret, you need about 5K in parts. Bearing, gear ring, tray, hatch, etc. If you want a non-rotating hatch that opens and closes, you will need to fabricate it yourself. I would either build...
