Bought a hitch and a winch

Bought a receiver bracket that attaches to anything flat with 4 bolts, I am bolting it to the back of the bed, and the winch mount can slide into it and live there until i need it. Then when I'm stuck like chuck, I take it out the bed receiver, and put it into the rear receiver.

Bought a hitch and a winch

I bought a hitch off ebay, I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy duty it is when I opened the box. Weighs a good amount and feels like its made of armored steel plate or something. Bolts right up where the pintle was. I don't plan on towing a boat or camper or anything, just wanted to have a...

    Flat tire

I drove out and picked up a couple tires today, I figure having a spare around will be nice. Was able to get the runflat back in by using one ratchet strap (big 3 inch wide 5000lb) to squeeze it from an O shape into an oval. Then wedge as much of the oval into the tire as I could and then ran...

Broken glow plug in cylinder, How scr345ed am I?

I had a couple stuck, undid the injectors to get the piece out, when i started it back up it knocked and i thought i was screwed. Turns out the injectors had air in them and once i cleared it the knocking went away. It was the worst knocking sound imaginable, I thought I had trashed the motor.

    Flat tire

ok so i drank an energy drink earlier and was not able to contain myself, i just went outside and removed the wheel, separated the rim, and took a sawzall to the tire to get the runflat out. I cut most of the way around the sidewall, much easier than cutting the bead area, then opened it like...

    Flat tire

Pinhole leak in the sidewall, likely from a thorn. Looks like I am going to be buying a new tire. I don't want to kill myself so I thought I would ask for help. I have read that I need to remove the valve core to make sure I have ambient air pressure, remove the 12 bolts, separate the two parts...

    makes grinding and popping sound

sounds like the cv joint, there are two on each halfshaft, check your cv boots for tears, mud/water likely got in there while in that mud you were talking about, sometimes you cant see the tears unless you rotate the shaft just right so that the bellows separate.
