I had a couple stuck, undid the injectors to get the piece out, when i started it back up it knocked and i thought i was screwed. Turns out the injectors had air in them and once i cleared it the knocking went away. It was the worst knocking sound imaginable, I thought I had trashed the motor.

So are you guys using a bead sealer of some kind when you air these up or just soapy water?

sounds like the cv joint, there are two on each halfshaft, check your cv boots for tears, mud/water likely got in there while in that mud you were talking about, sometimes you cant see the tears unless you rotate the shaft just right so that the bellows separate.

If you saw what 18yr old Joe does with these trucks on active duty, you would be amazed. I swear they try to blow them up.
