Really looking for a Rhino that is not exorbitant in price. Happy to do some repairs. Not sure who "Austin" is. Can anyone provide contact info since he seems to be the go to person. Thanks!

    What Would You Do Here?

Can you describe what the "drain tube" is you reference? I had so much junk in the valley of mine when I got it. Considering pulling the intake to clean up and paint since it is obviously water etc likes to sit in there. Complete newby here and absorbing as much information as I can for my truck.

    Help With Brush Guard Mounting

I want to install a brush guard on my rig. I have located one but struggling with what I am missing to mount it. The existing brackets on the truck are for shackles I think, from what I have seen on others. I went to the TM(as you will see) but they don't seem to help. Is the BG I am looking at...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

As usual, you are correct Mog. I opened it up and there are numerous contacts inside burnt and melted. Also with a date code of 2002, truck is a 2001.

    My EUC Timeline

You can't register for road use in MI correct? Which sucks. What is your plan with the new toy?? I have had mine for 9 days, running every day. Than yesterday decides to puke the SmartStart box and there goes another $1000! Buckle up and make sure the credit cards have some room on them! Keep us...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Yep, been an owner for all of 9 days and the Smart Start box has the bed.......There goes $1000 that I wasn't planning on spending.. Or that I wanted to put into the spare tire carrier! Truck has run perfectly for those 9 days. Starting no problem in 20degree weather. Was out diagnosing an oil...

    HMMWV Headlight Issue

Want to close the circle on this subject. Frustrating when people don't do that. Returned 2 sets of these headlights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B376YOE?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Contrary to a YT video of these working for HMMWV, 2 different sets did not for me! Buyer beware...

    Chinese Aux Diesel Heater

Random thoughts at 3AM-If I wanted to or "needed" to take my 1097 into the back country and wanted to camp in it, thinking of seasonal cold and how to heat things up. Have actually read good reviews on these chinese diesel heaters. Wondering if anyone has done it and where you tap into the...

    HMMWV Headlight Issue

As I said, the actual light part never stopped working. So, they never "smoked" per se. Both high and low beams were great. And you are correct, condensation after powering on. And the lights stayed on. After the first set had it happen, I went to the reviews and there were others that were...

    HMMWV Headlight Issue

You are correct, but from my research, you can use those because of the LED feature. A wide voltage range. If they blew, I can get that, but the light function worked perfectly, it was just the condensation inside. Makes no sense

    HMMWV Headlight Issue

I went with the jeep recommendation because of a guy on YT, Dakota, don't know his last name. I have bought 2 of these this week with the same results. SO pissed! Immediately upon turning them on, they fog right up. To the point of water dripping on inside of lens...
