Let's set a date, I like the 2nd weekend in October. I will come up which ever weekend is selected but that weekend or the one in November are preferred. If we set a date, folks can make a plan. Looking forward to this, it is always a good time.

I drove a deuce or bobbed deuce for the first three RC rally's. They are fun to own and drive, but I have more fun off-roading in jeeps. I got a used cargo cover from kublos in the spring and so now I can camp in the deuce and I am looking forward to that. I put a tow hitch for a 1980-1996...
I would prefer mid October or November. I may have a Halloween party the last weekend in October for the kids and their friends.
I will bring a deuce to camp in and tow my rock buggy. I got a cargo cover for the deuce so I am looking forward to using it.
We were out with kids on quads in...
We do have semi-annual get togethers at Rausch Creek in Schuylkill County. Rausch Creek is five minutes off of Rt 81 at the Rt 209 exit.
The rallys have been in October and March for the past several years. Do a search on Rausch Creek on the SS forum for more info.
Kip man and hdexpert both responded right away. Kip man is on it. Heck of a nice guy on the phone and well regarded on the site. For what it is worth, auction prices were higher than uncle SAMs retail outlet price when you factor in the premium and sales tax.
I want to add a thanks to the...
I bought 5 sleeping bags at Lockbourne OH. I need them picked up and shipped to PA. I got a quote from fast frack logistics they quoted $169 to ship five sleeping bags that weigh about 50 pounds. I am hoping a fellow SS member can help me out on this one. Or can recommend someone other than...
You are on to something with coverting the 109 box into a camper and making the 109 into a bobber. I made a bobber a few years ago. I had it at RC for one of the fall rallys. It was fun to drive, but gave up some traction off road and I should have installed a set of shocks on the back, it...
I will bring a deuce or the 818 in October and I will paint the Cherokee OD, it will blend right in. Tell my wife that you did not even notice the four deuces, the 818 and the trailer when you were over and maybe I will be allowed to get more.
Missed you at RC this time. We had an M109 out on the trails on Saturday. He did good with no damage. Your 109 would make for a very comfortable camping stay and will fit fine on the trails, so long as we stay out of the narrow woods trails.
Sorry about your m35, but glad to see you are...
I expected much more drama comming up the hill from lake Christy. Mikey made it up the rocky side, which suprised me. There were some pretty good sized rocks in there. I made it up that side as well in the jeep. The other side was even more rutted than the last time we were over there, but...
Good job organizing this Joe. I had a good time as usual. I always come home from these trips motivated to get things done for the next trip. Looking forward to October. I have a few video clips to up load tonight.
Burn ban. RC is prohibiting camp fires for the time being. Burn Ban
Maybe if we get some rain later this week, they will lift the ban. I do not know if they will have this information posted at the site, but lets keep RC happy.
I have a set of hard plastic racing seats with "padded" vinyl covers. They are too hard in my opinion to use off road. Maybe in a mud truck or drag car, but not for rough trails, which bounce you around.
