    I just bought a new cap and seal. Put it on and the seal swelled up from the fuel. Why would they manufacture a fuel cap seal that is not fuel resistant?

    Rebuild the air pack. Install a repair kit and hone it out. A small flap wheel and an engine cylinder hone will be the only special tools. I feel this should be done as initial maintenance on a recent purchase. This is not something you want to be unsure of.

    These batteries could be almost two years old. With no warranty for used batteries? I like the fifty dollar price too. Batteries could go any time.

    Electrolysis may be a problem. Check to make sure that you have plenty of good clean grounds. Your heater core may be an anode that is dissolving first. A multi meter may be able to help you test for current flowing through your coolant. Perhaps someone with electrical expertise can elaborate...

    The flow direction makes no difference as long as the lines routing does not cause a problem.

    I have a key start. I got my keyed switch at the auto parts store. You just hook it up for momentary on. The key will not turn it off though. Which is fine.

    I just went through this too. If you have not driven much. Maybe you should take it out to circulate all the air out. It took a bit for mine to clear out. That is after you are sure you have NO fuel leaks for are to suck back into the lines.
