The vacuum wipers are powered by both the pump and negative manifold pressure. If the vacuum pump is replaced with a fuel pump, simply connect the wipers directly to the intake manifold. Sounds like the original poster has a replacement original in tank fuel pump on the way anyway.

Obviously it's a Wilson trailer! Actually, it looks like a M105 with a civilian axle and tongue jack.

In my opinion, if you are going with something other than the original electric in tank pump used on the M151/M151A1, the best option is to use an engine mounted mechanical pump for an M151A2. It's cheap, simple, reliable, and original to the M151 series vehicles...

Just as a FYI in case you aren't already aware, while they are the same size, Gama Goat tires are only 6 ply, where I think original WW2 DUKW tires were heavier...

It is indeed a split system. One side feeds the center axle, while the other supplies both the front and rear axles.

Doghead! You're slipping... MinnesotaFirefighter, The parking brake is a mechanical driveline brake and completely unrelated to the hydraulic service brakes. Driving with it on would have no affect on them, so you had another problem... What kind of "brake problems" did you experience?
