At ACE SPEEDWAY ...Basically Burlington NC...it's actually 3 miles North of Burlington on Hwy 87 in Altamahaw NC but no one's ever heard of Altamahaw...
The CAROLINA PULLERS pulling schedule shows they'll be back to Ace in September but there may be other pulls that are closer to you...check...
On a straightline flatground pull, would it be better to leave the front wheels unlocked and let the rear do the work? Watching pull videos you can see the trucks squat on the tires once the load hits which unloads the front tires. Seems that with the weight shift, the fronts are just pulling...
I have the instructions and can scan/send when I get back home. I will forward alt ordering info as soon as they respond back and I plan on canxing my eliq order if the other vendor steps up.
yes all the wires have labels...they have numbers that line up with the fuse number. it's about that...
I spoke to them also and they admitted their add said breakers included. Don't let them off so easy. They should honor the add as it was when you ordered...if they don't I'm talking to a vendor that does have the kit w/ breakers and might be matching the eliq price. I'll let you know as soon as...
FYI...you don't have a Pulsetech Solargizer (which looks like this)

You have a Pulsetech Charge Distribution system which is WAY bigger and a whole lot...

I saw that too but be aware that is the FACTORY info line so they may not have noticed it says that and the breakers are not with the box...I think they would have included them in the pictures if they were there.
My circuit breakers look like extra long blade fuses so it looks like regular fuses will work. It sure is nice to have breakers instead so a blown fuse isn't a show stopper...If they don't have the manual I'll look and see what came in my kit since I have the whole system with the solar panel...
Here is a pic of the whole system. The black box allows you to monitor the batts condition and also brings in the power from the solar panel and pulses it across the batteries to keep them charged and sulfate free...all the parts can be obtained seperately except the solar panel which uses an 8...
the difference in price is usually what comes with it...the higher price comes with the circuit breakers and install kit...I used that link because it had better pics of the whole system...
Anything Pulsetech makes is aircraft quality. These kits were built for the Military and are being surplused out. They cost around $1800 originally. You'll find these on a bunch of the 5 tons when you get them from auction along with the solar panels. Pulsetech also makes the solargizer battery...
It has 1 ground lead and two pos leads. Connect the ground to one battery, then the 12v pos to the same battery, and the 24v pos to the other battery...then the box has 4 slots for 12v output, and 8 slots for 24v...it uses quik connect couplers which can be reused. This makes it very easy to add...
This is the best terminal block for the application. It gives you both 24v and 12v outputs and uses circuit breakers instead of fuses...it also has a port to add a solar panel to keep batteries charged...very high quality construction. I have one on my truck and it is plug and play easy...
Gov Liquidation lost the vehicle contract to Iron Planet which has reserve prices on most things so I doubt you'll see a truck go for $2777 again. It pays to keep looking though...

I used to drive these on the beaches at Eglin AFB FL and these are not good at all in pea soup situations at least with normal size tires...maybe if you mounted some 44x41/20s like Military Bogger it would be way different...
I hate I missed it since it was only 5 miles from me and we can actually hear the racing/pulling from the house. I got the truck ready, but sadly I wasn't since I been fighting a 3 week battle with bronchitis...They'll pull at Ace Speedway again in Sept so we can all plan to meet there and have...
Would it be possible to mount several lights on the back of the bar facing the rear so you could use them as cargo loading lights? (wasn't sure without seeing it in place)...looks great...
