You can get a 24v inline fuel pump made by FACET (high quality pump used on military generators) for about $50 on E_ay. It is self priming, small(about the size of a baseball) only 5psi and can be plumbed in a parallel line to your fuel line with a check valve at each end. If/when you need to...
Be careful mismatching tire sizes front to back...if they are different diameters (height) it will tear up your drivetrain if you lock in the front axle the same as if you put different gears in the front...
I wish it was a leak...they can be fixed...but no leaks...checked with system at pressure, engine off, key switch on, no leaks...after the pressure dump, I aired system back up with gladhand hose (and a sore thumb) and drove home. Computer went to sand mode or something is my guess...just tired...
My CTIS Dumped my tire pressure while I was driving to the Denton Rallye...Got me thinking that I like the CTIS but am not impressed with the computer control of it. Wondered if a plain regulator valve could be put in place of the computer control...set the regulator for 70psi...check the gauge...
I was thinking the same thing about the hinges...look at it from a front end collision viewpoint...If you put a 200lb rider in the seat and buckle him in...then the only thing keeping him and the seat from faceplanting into the dash and/or right on thru the windshield is that thin wire latch and...

Isn't the Gearhart locker the same as the stock lockers in the USMC 5 tons? There have been several owners who have reported USMC locker operation results. Try searching the forums for locker or USMC locker etc...
Trucks that don't need tools are called "Tonka"...My truck needed tools this weekend too...While I was headed to Denton, the CTIS dumped all of my tire pressure. I noticed the ride felt squishy all of a sudden and pulled over (since you can't see the front tires from the cab)...It's a good thing...
Had a breakdown in my logistics chain...My co rider and chase truck driver (my dad) got held up getting in town so there is no way we are going to make it anytime soon since it's 70miles...I'm hoping to be there early in the AM...Wheelspinner, if you have any left-overs please bring...
The problem is not getting to 450...it's knowing what the torque is on the nut...too little is not good, but too much is just as dangerous...Your technique looks good on paper but how would you apply it accurately especially since the wrench moves in an arc...It seems like it would be hard to...
I'm changing out some 5 ton tires and need help getting to the 450 ft lbs the bead nuts need. My torque wrench only goes to 350ft lbs...bolts and torque usually move in a linear measure so can someone with a torque wrench that goes to 450 tell me how much further to turn the nut past 350? I'm...
