Anyone here from the Valdosta,GA area? So far I have seen two M1009's, one is camo the other is not. I spotted the camo one at Moody AFB and the other as I was driving around town. Just looking to make friends in my area.

I got the original GM console from a '80 suburban perfect fit, it is so big that you can fit a twelve pack of bottled beer and still have plenty off room left! It also includes two cup holders and is lockable with the door keys!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune but I am sure you got a leak some where, could be the water pump or radiator? With the engine cold remove the radiator cap top of fluid and start the engine keep an eye on the filler neck and check for bubbles if it is bubbling and fluid is coming out really...
You should take the alternator apart (or have a shop do it) and clean it with thoroughly with electrical contact cleaner or brake cleaner to get rid of the oil. Especially oil on the brushes will not help your alternator at all, oil will get between the brushes and the rotor causing bad contact...
I finished the top end of the engine two days ago, mine is also a daily driver and the head gaskets went out because the previous owner did not resurface the heads resulting in cooked head gaskets. Besides that rebuilt the whole truck from the ground up minus the transmission which was already...

I am glad to hear you made it home and that you don't have a injection problem it would sure cost more than the flexplate. as for the flex plate the part number I gave you is the correct one for the non emissions J code 6.2 that you have under your hood and NO it is not discontinued. I ordered...
If you are going to need one, you can get a flex plate from autozone for $37.
