I'm not sure if the GRR-5 has "synchronized" vibrators or not. The standard vibrators for these old radios are fairly easy to find, but if they are the same type as are used in the GRC-3, -5 & -7 ("synchronized" vibrators) it is a lot harder.
Try talking to Phil at Fair Radio. There is also a...
Welcome from Washington State!
The details on the dumping mechanism for the M37 would be fun to see. Is there a Canadian Technical Manual or Modification Order that accomplishes that modification?
I need to get a S-144 radio shelter from Knoxville, Tenn to Woodinville, WA (Seattle area). Is anyone interested in this load?
Commercial address at both ends with forklift at both ends.
78" long X 61" wide X 61" tall. Weight about 500 lbs(?). Shelter is aluminum and empty (no radio gear)...
Well, this looks like another little winter project to keep boredom at bay. This came with my little generator unit, and now that I got the generator fixed over the summer, I'll start playing with this little blow torch.
I remember seeing these little blow torches in the cartoons when I was a...
I was wondering about that hook. This is definitely "old school" then. Cape Coastie, I would like some suggestions for google searches, if you have them.
Timntrucks, I would love to see the tags and decals on these soldering torches if you have them.
Thanks,

Thanks, guys!
Not having a M1076 (or even knowing what it is) I guess I now have another orphan to find a home for.
I'll put it with the rest of the orphan herd and hope it doesn't get into too much trouble.
Thanks again!

I have a little Homelight military Generator (24-28 VDC Model # 20.5D28-23A) that I got a few years back. It had a crack in the fuel bowl which got fixed this summer. Attached to this generator was a little blow torch which I would like to get working, but there is nothing to identify it...
I was given this part (really an assembly) today and was told that it is a "lunette extension" for a trailer. It looks weird to me and seems kind of pointless as a trailer lunette extension.
Does anyone recognize it or know what it is and how to use it? Every part of the assembly has a number...
Peter, if I bring the trailer, I'll need to be on the main street. Moving that truck and trailer around those small side streets is just not going to happen (no room).
Let me know if the main street positioning is possible.
Thanks!
If Fair Radio doesn't have them, it starts to get interesting, and becomes an adventure.
I think I have the contact information (somewhere) for a guy who puts solid state parts into the vibrators to obtain the correct output voltages. He disassembles the units and installs the new parts. When...
It looks like what is left of a Navy crash truck after a fire department got done with it.
It is worth whatever the market will bear, depending on the condition of the truck.
I'm not a "sparky"; I'm more of a mechanical, nuts & bolts kind'a guy, so I'm not much help with your problem. However, if you go over to G741 (which is exclusively M37 / M43) you will find lots of people to help you. There are a number of very knowledgeable people who would be happy to help...
It all depends on the time period. Flat Black is more recent, flat white is older. I'm not sure in which year the military switched over.
Someone on here will know.
