I accidenlty hooked up a set backwards in the middle of the night. Fried the trucks ecm. But never seen a battery blow. It sparked so crazy that it didn't take but 2 seconds to yank them off. I can't see how someone could leave them hooked up long enough to explode a battery.

A member here makes a overdrive kit to get more speed, you can put on bigger tires. Overson makes new gears for the rockwells that arnt cheap. Or you can put a new engine in that revs higher.

Saw something like that last night. It was a 150 dollar value thing they droped to 10 bucks, then free, but had a 39.95 S&H fee. It would easlly fit in a flatrate box. Sad part is they had a counter on the screen and sold thousands of em.

The fuel shut off is removed. All the lines going to the head are removed, as are the injection lines. Safe to say she ain't going anywhere under her own power for a few days.

I'm in the middle of a HH replacement and have run into a road block. I can't get the **** motor to spin over by hand. I've tried a big prybar in the shortshaft between tranny and xfer. The transfer is in neutral but can't get it to budge. Need ideas asap. Running out a light and gotta get this...

Im about to star the process of changing out my HH. When you guys had to spin the motor over, to line everything up, did you just blip the starter?

Your IDI can handle thinker fuels like WMO, but not thin fuels like gas. Put gas in that engine and your going to need a new one.

People do it with deuce rims. Same size just different lug pattern. That said, Hemtt rims are pretty cheap, and are a way better fit for the tires. And they bolt right in the truck.

Probably, It's normally parked about a block away behind the Maytag shop. I frequent the tire shop though.
