Agreed He has another video detailing a radiator change and also in the same video he shows how he put castors on his 802.

Based on your description I believe the 802 will do fine for you in the RV and even when you build the house especially since you will be using gas for heating and cooking and hot water and because it will be a backup source of power. Will you have a well pump as well or city? My RV (Fleetwood...
YouTuber ZEBCO ROD has a nice video of his upgrades he did for his 802 which includes a shed for fuel and a lean-to for the genny. He lives completely off-grid.

I am considering getting a Generac Generator Manual Transfer Switch — 200 Amps, Model# 63350. The pics online aren't the greatest. If anyone has one and could post pics I'd really appreciate it!
I have been admiring one and was wondering what peoples thoughts are on these little guys and does anyone here have one and can give their opinion of the unit?
Thanks!
Someone else will correct me if I am wrong but isn't it just motors that might have an issue with the 208volt? That and any electric heat element like an electric stove or heater....will take longer to heat?

On the other hand though....if you can negotiate a bit you could probably at least break even and maybe make some money by parting it out. Those panels, doors, etc could fetch some decent cash I would think. Good luck!
Those 3 phase Hubbel's can be used for single phase as long as you know what you are doing with the wiring.
The 3 phase plug is wired as X, Y & Z (black, red, blue) which are each of the 'hot legs' plus one more for the ground. I am wiring them as X=120vac, Y=120vac and Z=Neutral, and of...
I am looking at getting one of these manual transfer switches: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AHTWRDM/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_42?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER along with these Hubbel Twist Lock male/female sets (Steel Soldiers Member Zed254 introduced me to those Hubbel's) and some soow...
I'm excited about getting the load bank done and posted. I believe it will be helpful for others and my load bank all fits in a tote and can be stored easily. I don't have the space for an old electric range or two!
Its been a while since a updated everybody on this thread but due to that pesky day job and family crisis I was put a bit behind. I was finally able to get that old exhaust pipe off and as you all pointed out, all it took was a (proper) torch and about 2 minutes of heating and it came right...
