Thanks Sigo for the link. That will come in handy when we get ready to mount ring onto truck
However, I'm also looking for the TM so we can disassemble the ring, clean/grease the parts needed, and reassemble properly.
Bump this back up. Working on acquiring an M66, and would like the TM so we can properly disassemble and pm the ring before attaching to the truck. Any, all help with this would be great.
Thanks

Thanks for the links. I looked into having mine re-cored, but for the price quoted, i can get a nice aftermarket one. I have a rad book i borrowed from my parts store, i can get exact dimensions of tha FJ40 rad and see how it fits in place.
Hey guys, I'm currently working on repowering my M37 with a 6.2l out of a HMMWV. Looking to see what others have run as far as new radiators? My stock one is pretty rotted out, and I doubt it would cut it anyways keeping this thing cool. I have measured the old one, and the closest I've been...
Jesse, Sorry to hear about that. I'm in the process of acquiring the parts to convert mine to a 6.2l, since its more budget friendly than a 4bt. Just got tired of buying parts for an engine I really didn't want in it anyways
Thanks for at least a starting point. We were afraid most of the big stuff was still classified, but hey, one can always hope. We still have some leads on an LWS ring to copy, and now that we know that MRAP's use the same as a HMMWV, I can run that down as well. All else fails, we can build our...
Hey Guys,
I'm helping a friend replicate an MRAP and we have a few q's about the gun ring/mount.
1st: Which mount is the correct mount for an MRAP? An M66, LWS, or other. We've been told it uses the same mount as a HMMWV, Duece and 5Ton
2nd: Is this mount even avaliable for civilian hands...
Yeah, but they could have run the Sno-Commander p/s setup, which puts the pump high up on the motor, right in the middle of the block.:-D
Oh well, there easy enough to convert over
Sounds like a cool idea. I like the idea of walnut, just like the look better. Thought about doing a wood floor in my M37, but ran out of time, and the metal one was faster. Kudos for the idea, hope it turns out well.
NDT thanks, He is still looking for the service paperwork from the gen shop that worked on it, and trying to get it to run.
At $1000 value, it would be worth the gamble, run it till something major goes wrong, then find something else. Do like the idea of propane or nat gas for fuel.
If I...
