PE-95-K O'Keefe & Merrit Gen Set. Value? Picture Heavy

Hopefully you genny guys can help. Threw a guy at work, I have come across a PE-95-K Gen set. The seller isn't sure what it's worth, but looking to sell it as his father passed away, and the family no longer has a use for the unit. So far, he hasn't found the service records, but he said when...

    M37 Greek Harness questions

I bought a VWM harness, and thought it was worth every penny. My old harness was junk, even the outer shells, so it was worth having a new one made. Didnt have to source the plugs, all the connection pieces, the blinker setup. Along with the time I would have had into building my own, made sense...

    M880 series parts.

I was suprised how peppy the truck was after I removed the box one summer, even with the 37"HMMWV tires. We figure the box loaded with just the welder, air comp and the stock torch set (AC5 acyt, T tank O2) was pushing 2500#. Load that baby up with tools and stuff, I bet its 3000#+

    M880 series parts.

That was probibly mine. I started a thread last year about swapping a 1st gen cummins into my M887. Project stalled for awhile, but back onto it this winter. I'll revive that old thread as stuff happens.

Shocks, M101A1 A2 A3 is there no part # available

Unless somebody posts a part number, you may have to take your off and measure them. You want to measure the shock fully compressed and fully extended, usually to the center of the mounting hole in the bushing. Take those measurements to a good auto parts store and they should be able to cross...

    M880 series parts.

Here is what i have found to be the downsides of the M887, my 2cents, others may feel differently or completly disagree (1) Mine runs the scales near 8000 lbs, without the loads of tools i put in it, That being said, with the 37" HMMWV tires, it was alot of truck to get moving and get stopped...

    M880 series parts.

Radiogeek99, I love it. I bought it for my small welding buisness, and it's handy as ****. It has it's downsides, but I'm currently working on them so it's more reliable and useful. I like the 1031's and there 12kw generator, but unless I got it really cheap, I wouldn't own one. Now if I...

    M880 series parts.

The correct civilian model number is a W200, but the D series and W series use the same sheetmetal, as do the different models. Your looking from '73 to '80 dodge D/W 100-300. Beware aftermarket panels. Ones I've used in the past weren't the greatest, thinner metal, and the contours/body lines...

    Workspace request. Marietta,Smyrna, Ga area.

Found a place to work on your truck yet? After reading/replying to your thread about the batt cable, thought just occured to me, head to your favorite auto store and buy that cable, then go outside and install it, along with everything else you want to do. You now have a reason to work on your...

M880 alternative to Carter BBD carb??

Threw another local SS member, I bought a brand new direct bolt on Holley 2bbl carb off Ebay for $100. My old carter was starting to leak and have some issues. Couple hours later, had it back up and running, with no issues.

M1009 battery cable with fusible link

    Over Pressure Cooling System

It's a bad head gasket. Had this same issue with my M1009. Turns out it was the pass head, blew out the gasket between the front of the block and the #2 cylinder. Good Luck

    M884 found / M880 series value?

Last time I saw this truck for sale, it was in the weekly Auto RV, right around $3800. It was for sale in Gladwin, along with a second M880 as well.

If I had to guess a price, I would say $3850. It's in the ball park of nice older dodge pickups for Michigan.

    Ugly Trucking Disk Brakes

Nattie, my bad, I thought you were talking about the disc conversion, not an axle swap. I meant the outer knuckle flange bolts on the stock M37 axle have to be flipped to clear the calipers. Cosmic339, the Oscoda show has typically been in June, however MIMVPA hasn't yet set a date for next...

    Ugly Trucking Disk Brakes

I wouldn't hold your breath for the disc brakes. I just bought 2 sets from him, and after some contact about some bearing races, he said he probibly wasn't going to be making anymore sets. Nattie, not sure what you mean by the front being a PITA, mine have gone on quite well, with out harldy...

    M944A1 Mobile Shop Civilian Conversion

Any better pics of the welder? From other M944A1's I've looked at, they have a decent size DC unit, with a wire feeder piggybacked on top. Example, i've seen some with a Miller XMT 304, with a single spool wire feeder attached to it. Can help out more when some pics arrive,
